German painter Andreas Scholz was born in 1955 in Waldbröl near Bonn. From 1976 to 1980, he studied at the Advanced Technical College for Art and Design in Cologne as a master student of Prof. Sovâk. In 1980, he received a scholarship from the WDR Cologne and in 1983 a sponsorship prize from the Kölnischer Kunstverein. Today he acts as a volunteer lecturer at the Hektor Children's Academy and creates his harmonious landscape paintings and still lifes as a freelance artist.
