About this artwork
This work was created on site, from the Virginia side of the Potomac River, near Washington, DC. The artist, Andrei Kushnir, was working in this location during this period, and created a series of paintings depicting the riverbend. On the day this painting was made, a beautiful cloud hung over the scene, and the artist included it in the painting.
