Andrei Sharov is an experienced, prizewinning artist whose works have been exhibited internationally. His multi-disciplinary works combine elements of impressionism, figuration and traditional motifs and subjects to create his dynamic paintings. Sharov's works are full of expressive energy and emotion, transforming classical motifs–such as the nude female subject–into saturated bursts of color. This rearticulation of traditional motifs conveys not only Sharov’s mood and temperament towards his subject matter, but also the overall state of our contemporary culture, defined as it is by intense energy and its fast-paced nature.
