Andrejs Bovtovics doesn't remember how he started, has been painting for as long as he can remember, and is 'entertaining himself between birth and death'. The Latvian artist tries to avoid deep thoughts when creating, as there are no special meanings in his works. Bovtovics isn't certain of his process. He approaches the canvas with the thought that he can't do anything, yet his hands seem to move freely on their own volition. He paints using acrylics on canvas.
