"Endless"
Under this title, sculptor Andres Klimbacher creates his latest sculptures, which explore infinity or the ever-recurring. Escher's depiction of ants on a seemingly endless path along a ribbon served as the inspiration. This ribbon is unique both mathematically and geometrically because it is non-orientable. That is, it cannot be clearly distinguished between up and down, inside and outside. It is a fitting allegory for the loss of control,… and the comparison with current social, political, or economic developments is also apt.
