About this artwork
A cat party with catnip and other pleasures. This painting is a part of my cats series. These paintings look best in dining rooms, because the composition of the painting puts the viewer as the 4th participant around the dinner table. But it works just as well anywhere where one can look at it while seated. The intention is to give the viewer a feeling of magic, by bringing something impossible yet somehow very familiar into the room. My cats are… also metaphors for high society, with subtle symbols that speak to those who understand them.
