About this artwork
This work was started by splashing paint onto the canvas and then trying to see the forms suggested by the paint and solidify them. Some parts of the painting are quite raw, showing this initial process. Others are worked in many layers and polished. The symbolism is suggested by the patterns seen by the artist in the paint itself. The symbols mean different things to different people and that's OK. The idea is a sort of magical synergy between the… creator and the viewer.
