About this artwork
This work was created during the pandemic when the artist wanted to represent a rainbow. For her, the symbol of the rainbow represents union, a symbol that has been used extensively during the pandemic to remind people that beauty is yet to come.
But also, it recalls the beauty in diversity. Andy always felt that society automatically and ingrained created a framework for individuals to follow. Today, she lives from her art thanks to the fact that… she managed to silence those little voices in her head that told her not to take any risks and to find a job "like the others".
So it goes without saying that the artist has great respect for the LGBTQAI+ community, which makes the difference shine!
