The Library Bar is the first composition in my Red Carpet Series, where I created a more intimate composition.
This more intimate composition follows the theme of the muted black and white formal attire, but I also invited more casual styles. This suggests that this is not a specific event but a small bar inspired by The Iroquois Hotlel or the Grand Central Station's famed Cambel Apartment Bar.
A happy hour of sorts is unfolding, but the figures… stand singular like the buildings behind them, which suggest they may all be strangers. Strangers waiting for a train or another member of their party to arrive before going out into the city of night that awaits.
