About this artwork
Work composed of two complementary pieces in the form of stelae joined by a mobile "hinge" made of copper tube, a material that partially invades and penetrates the two wooden parts.
It is carved, on the outside, representing two handprints, ten digital marks on each panel, penetrating the matter drawing with complementary centripetal and centrifugal movements, creating and removing vegetable figures from the inside.
The two internal faces are… carved in high relief with symbolic and organic forms that allude to the eternal "struggle" of the male and female gender.
