About this artwork
A complex sculptural piece is shown to the public, with a deep work of theoretical meditation and a search for the best way to give expressiveness to the "idea"
The title "Karma" means "action" in sancript. It refers to the Hindu idea that our actions determine, positively or negatively, in a cycle of causes and effects.
However, it has incorporated in the form of forging of pieces of steel the word of snacript "Dharma"
It is a psychological game… so that the knowledgeable public of the sancript recognizes the voluntary error between the title and the reality shown.
The work is displayed on three levels:
The lower one, supportive, with the hint of three continuous female torsos in three phases of life: adolescence, youth and maturity. The humanity
The superior expresses the vicissitudes and dangers, ultimately the journey through existence.
The zenith shows a "mask" an imagined and never seen "entity". Our desire to endure in the afterlife.
