About this artwork
Closed bulk sculpture with organic shapes that plays with the projections and holes, with two perpendicular holes that go through the piece. It is placed in a balanced position to give it greater dynamism and morbidity. It is polished to enhance the patterns of alabaster veins and the reflection of light on its warped surface.
Formally it is the deformation of a simple polyhedron. The intervention starts from the idea of how a "liquid" and a three-dimensional… mathematical construction can dialogue in constant tension. The fluid wanting to escape from the edge-limit of the polyhedron by tensioning and creating a latent movement.
