About this artwork
In this painting Angela is exploring the idea of dreams and memories unfolding at night. The painting has been slowly built up over many different layer and iterations lending complexity to it.
Angela enjoyed bold brush strokes and more detailed mark making in this piece. She mixed her own paint by using artist pigments. Fine china paper was dyed and integrated into this piece. Charcoal and pencil lines add movement to the work.
The canvas has been… painted around the edges in a complementary colour. Hooks and cord are attached at the back – the painting is ready for hanging.
The painting comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.
