About this artwork
This work is part of a series that represents an evolution of my work on the human figure, particularly the female nude. Unlike previous years, when I worked "alla prima" with the model present, this latest series of paintings is reworked from pencil studies, still done by me from life. The goal of this new approach is to distance myself from the purely "descriptive" approach that can easily arise with the model present, both in form and color, seeking…
