Geometric bas-reliefs emerge from the corroded surfaces, revealing a strong symbolic and functional component, as if each sign responded to an operational logic whose code we have lost.
These archaeological relics stimulate and evoke poetic visions of immense catastrophes, the collapse of ancient civilizations equipped with technologies unknown to us but certainly advanced, leading us into a dystopian… and catastrophic yet at the same time calm and serene dimension.
In their oxidized encrustations, these gears seem to have rested for millennia, jealously guarding ancestral secrets.
The colors, oxides, and material stratifications stimulate the imagination and invite a melancholic journey along the traces of ancient and lost worlds.
One can sense a non-linear, but cyclical, vision of time, where past and future merge, overlap, and sometimes invert.
