Pretty in Pink, a wild floral dance, pink roses dressed in fine blushing silk sway on a whispered summer breeze.
Wild roses always inspire me, beautiful and delicate yet strong and sharp, wild roses aren’t afraid to shout of their beauty and their strength, a reflection of loves passion and pain. Pretty in Pink is a large oil painting… painted in an expressionist style with dripped and thrown paint. The roses are painted in impressionist strokes creating texture and depth in the artwork. I have kept the flowers partially deconstructed and organic to symbolism natures wild abandon, the chaos and beauty of life. Delicate white clusters of flowers sit fresh and pure against the blush pink blooms while ethereal butterflies hover in the sky. The painting infuses a home with beauty, joy, hope and serenity and brings a contemporary floral flair to any wall it adorns.
