About this artwork
This drawing portrays Kurt Cobain, singer of the 90s cult band Nirvava. Before his suicide in 1994, Kurt Cobain changed the face of rock by bringing his personal punk imprint and something not well defined, raw, with an ancestral energy. After Munch's Scream, Cobain's Scream! Magnificent source of inspiration.

After graduating from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna, I moved to Dublin, where I worked odd jobs to pay the rent. A chance encounter with a group of young rappers from the city's suburbs reawakened my passion and need to create art. It was at that moment that "Anguilla," my artistic essence, was born again.
So I started developing a type of figurative art that mixes pop art, surrealism and the passion for Japanese cartoons that I grew up with.
In art, I've always sought a spiritual dimension, something that complements the physical world and adds meaning to it. Making art, therefore, is connecting with another dimension, a glimpse beneath the blanket of the sky.
