About this artwork
This work is the expression of intense emotions mixed with the serenity of the abstract. Using acrylics, I have captured the ups and downs of life on canvas, the lines represent paths that are sometimes direct and at other times fade. My intention is to invite reflection and add a contemplative energy to any space.

« Painting is a great teacher for me. It is the experience of allowing something while my will is absent from the process. »
Anke Blaue is an artist based in Germany whose works have been featured in solo exhibitions nationally, as well as in Spain, Italy, and Belgium. For her, painting orginates from her esssence and is an expression of her inner world. In her artistic practice, Blaue allows herself to be an instrument, "so that what the moment asks can be expressed". Her bold abstract compositions are most often created with acrylics.
