About this artwork
In this abstract work, I have sought to explore the beauty of simplicity and texture. Using acrylics, I have captured tactile emotions that invite reflection. The harmony of earthy tones and the overlapping of shapes creates a space of calm and contemplation. I feel this piece will bring serenity and a thoughtful energy to any home.

« Painting is a great teacher for me. It is the experience of allowing something while my will is absent from the process. »
Anke Blaue is an artist based in Germany whose works have been featured in solo exhibitions nationally, as well as in Spain, Italy, and Belgium. For her, painting orginates from her esssence and is an expression of her inner world. In her artistic practice, Blaue allows herself to be an instrument, "so that what the moment asks can be expressed". Her bold abstract compositions are most often created with acrylics.
