« The representational in my painting is important to me. I reduce the objectivity so much that the quintessence of what I want to express becomes visible. »
Anke Dinkelbach is an artist based in Germany whose paintings have been featured in solo exhibitions nationally. Her artistic practice is marked by the search behind what is visible, capturing a vulnerable beauty and the essentials which might not be seen or felt without painting. Dinkelbach's distinctive pieces are most often created using oils on canvas.
