About this artwork
In this work I have merged acrylic and oil to create a dynamic tension between the semi-abstract world and symbolism. I wanted to represent the resilient emergence of the human soul through the cracks of our realities, evoking strength and vulnerability. This piece radiates intense energy, elevating the living space with its visual and emotional impact.

Ann R was born in Bruxelles, grew up in Iran and now resides in France. Her artworks have been exhibited nationally, as well as in the United States and China. Somewhere between disenchantment and dreams, her work is a poetic metaphor of humanity. The rabbit is a recurring symbol within her compositions, as it expresses the fragile balance between strength and vulnerability. She paints using several layers of oils on linen canvases and draws with India ink on paper.
