Ann R was born in Bruxelles, grew up in Iran and now resides in France. Her artworks have been exhibited nationally, as well as in the United States and China. Somewhere between disenchantment and dreams, her work is a poetic metaphor of humanity. The rabbit is a recurring symbol within her compositions, as it expresses the fragile balance between strength and vulnerability. She paints using several layers of oils on linen canvases and draws with India ink on paper.
