In my artwork I play with the dynamics of Indian ink on paper. The abstract composition reflects deep emotions and an impulse of the moment. The game of control and chance leads to a visual poetry that appeals personally to every viewer. The work will develop a lively, emotional energy in your room and stimulate thought.

« I like working with paper. I love its texture, the way it reacts to water, how it ripples and tears. It is stubborn, obstinate and develops its own character. »
Eckert is a dedicated German painter who began drawing when she was a child, taking a pencil to the walls of her nursery to create fairytale scenes. Using a figurative style to represent the human form, she produces eye-catching, strong paintings with an evident excitement for artistic expression.
