In this work of art, strong emotions and abstract beauty flow together. I worked with Indian ink on paper to create a dynamic composition that challenges the viewer and makes them think. The energy emanating from the powerful strokes and contrasting blue brings life and deep thought to any room.

« I like working with paper. I love its texture, the way it reacts to water, how it ripples and tears. It is stubborn, obstinate and develops its own character. »
Eckert is a dedicated German painter who began drawing when she was a child, taking a pencil to the walls of her nursery to create fairytale scenes. Using a figurative style to represent the human form, she produces eye-catching, strong paintings with an evident excitement for artistic expression.
