In my work, emotions flow freely in powerful, intuitive strokes rendered on paper using Indian ink. The abstract shapes and expressive lines reflect the unconscious and invite the viewer to find their own meanings. It is an energetic composition that expresses passion and movement and gives any room a lively, inspiring atmosphere.

Germany
« I like working with paper. I love its texture, the way it reacts to water, how it ripples and tears. It is stubborn, obstinate and develops its own character. »
Eckert is a dedicated German painter who began drawing when she was a child, taking a pencil to the walls of her nursery to create fairytale scenes. Using a figurative style to represent the human form, she produces eye-catching, strong paintings with an evident excitement for artistic expression.
