In my work I have played with Indian ink on paper to create an abstract landscape through minimalism and expressionism. The dynamic lines and blurred shapes evoke a feeling of movement and freedom. It is a visual poetry that encourages you to think about your own longing and overcoming boundaries. This piece of art will bring an energetic yet calming presence to any room.

Anna Eckert
Germany
« I like working with paper. I love its texture, the way it reacts to water, how it ripples and tears. It is stubborn, obstinate and develops its own character. »
Eckert is a dedicated German painter who began drawing when she was a child, taking a pencil to the walls of her nursery to create fairytale scenes. Using a figurative style to represent the human form, she produces eye-catching, strong paintings with an evident excitement for artistic expression.
