In my work I combine the simplicity of minimalism with the raw emotionality of expressionism. Ink on paper captures the essence of a mental landscape, an inner world that is both familiar and mysterious. The abstract shapes and lines invite you to lose yourself in contemplation and find your own interpretations. This piece of art will bring a dynamic and thoughtful energy to any room.

Anna Eckert
Germany
« I like working with paper. I love its texture, the way it reacts to water, how it ripples and tears. It is stubborn, obstinate and develops its own character. »
Eckert is a dedicated German painter who began drawing when she was a child, taking a pencil to the walls of her nursery to create fairytale scenes. Using a figurative style to represent the human form, she produces eye-catching, strong paintings with an evident excitement for artistic expression.
