Blue shift wurde das Bild mit den meisten Farbschichten, das mir den letzten Nerv geraubt hat. Es wollte infach nicht so, wie ich wollte. Im Prinzip hat das Bild meine Erlebnisse widergespielt, eine Achterbahnfahrt der Emotionen. Und deshalb gibt es hier kein Links, rechts, oben oder unten - man kann das Bild so aufhängen, wie man es für richtig hält. Zum Glück bin ich am Ende des Prozesses jetzt hier gelandet und beim Voting haben alle dafür gestimmt,…

Anna Karolina primarily uses acrylic paints in her paintings and has a background in theater and media studies as well as film production. Her technique is characterized by abstract painting, preferably with palette knives and subtly incorporated textures; brushes are rarely used. Her works convey a fascinating mixture of restlessness and hope, which gradually transforms into a gentle wave of stability and discovery upon viewing.
