About this artwork
SHIFTING PATTERNS 2 is an abstract wall sculpture made with cotton fabric, acrylic paint, and thread on canvas. A vivid surface with lots of texture and plasticity contributes to an almost sculptural effect. The color fields appear to be in motion and therefore create an ambiguity of foreground and background.
