Anna Marous, started to paint in her early twenties as a self-taught artist and later became an alumna of the Royal College of Arts in London, having been selected for their summer program in Contemporary Arts. She also studied at the Visual Arts Center in Westmount and l’Atelier circulaire in Montreal as well as the Vancouver School of Arts. She works primarily in painting, building on a foundation of other studies in drawing, etching and photography. Her expressive technique features vivid color, playful brushwork, and an abstract, intuitive approach reminiscent of the schools of Paris and the New York expressionists, always stylizing forms to reveal their true essence. Her art radiates a sense of whimsical wonder, inviting viewers into mysterious worlds filled with creativity and discovery. Marous’s works are in private collections all over Europe and the Americas as well as other countries including the UAE, Porto Rico, Isreal. Her works are displayed in Hotels and Institutions.
