About this artwork
"The story behind my music paintings: my husband is a musician and headmaster of a music school. I often participate in concerts of children, including my own. I can see how children develop in their skills and how beautiful music is. It often accompanies me later in my memories when I devote myself to my second passion, which is gardening. And so in my imagination all these areas combine and interwoven. I am also fascinated by the beauty of musical…
instruments, as objects, unique works of applied art. Even as a person who does not have musical hearing, I feel special instruments. In painting, I try to tell it with color and form.
In this particular painting, my goal was to give the softness and warmth of the piano sound, despite its large, heavy and dark form. Hence the selection of colors, warm and translucent plant forms.
The painting was presented at the exhibition "Jasinski & Friends" 2018 at the National Theater in Warsaw, and at the Culture Center and the Public Library."
