About this artwork
“Aegna Island” is a seascape inspired by the calm atmosphere of a small Estonian island, where rocks and waves offer a gentle escape from the city. Smooth boulders in the surf and the endless blue of the water create a feeling of freshness, lightness and simple, honest rest in nature. It is a painting about a place where time slows down and you can just listen to the whisper of the sea.
The artwork is painted in acrylic on 100% cotton canvas. Soft… transitions of turquoise and sandy tones convey the play of light on the water and the texture of wet stones, while the tranquil palette enhances the sense of harmony. Framed in a clean wooden frame and ready to hang, this piece brings a breath of the sea and a quiet sense of freedom into any interior.
