I used palette knife for this painting.
The Balkan Mountains, also commonly known as Stara Planina, are one of the largest mountain ranges in Bulgaria. The mountain range stretching from west to east "cuts" Bulgaria into two parts, and its western spurs are partly located on Serbian territory.
The total length of the mountain range Balkan Mountains represent a natural continuation of the Southern Carpathians and provide the basis for the toponyms… "Balkan Peninsula" and "Balkans". Covered with forests of oak, beech, hornbeam, pine and deciduous trees, the slopes of the Balkan Mountains are one of the most picturesque views.
Original oil painting on a stretched canvas, high-quality materials are used, neatly hand signed on the face and back.
