About this artwork
I was inspired by the recent eclipse on September 7 this year, which I captured with great pleasure. There was so much talk about this event and the unusual eclipse that happens once every 7 years and when the moon turns blood-orange. A lunar eclipse occurs when the moon enters the earth's shadow, causing it to darken. I also caught a moment when an airplane was flying over such a bloody moon and I thought I had to paint exactly this picture. The…
picture turned out to be contrasting, where black prevails and we see the moon as a fiery spot. An unusual set of mono colors for me. However, this makes the picture even more interesting, as it captures your attention and makes you want to look at this heavenly darkness!
