About this artwork
This series was inspired by beautiful English gardens, from our visits to National trust parks.
The images are highly metaphoric and filled with burning passion and artistic creation, presenting remarkable world. I use a special process that involves oils and varnish, by applying layer after layer of paint with effluence of sprays, scratches and drips. I have a wonderful sense for how the quality of light and dramatic colours set the stage for a… sense of delightful amazement. Within composition, I leave enough of the story untold for the subject to remain mysterious and intriguing to the audience.

Anna Ravliuc is rising UK painter with international exposure. Ravliuc works exclusively with oil paints which she feels have a unique ability to simulate volumetric texture through brushstrokes and glazing, thus increasing their optical properties.
