I accept life as it is and I am not afraid of death, whatever it may be. I wish I had wings at least for once and could soar high above the clouds, to admire the infinity of the sky and feel the power of flight. I wish I could descend to such depths, where the heart tightens with horror and suffocates in the darkness of the abyss, longing for the serenity of the blue sky.

Anna Ravliuc is rising UK painter with international exposure. Ravliuc works exclusively with oil paints which she feels have a unique ability to simulate volumetric texture through brushstrokes and glazing, thus increasing their optical properties. Her artwork strives to reveal how society spreads beyond its own subjective horizons and often reveals a story about the outcomes of global cultural interaction on individuals.
