About this artwork
The Woman, just like life, is full of mystery and contradictions, and just like death is always victorious.
This painting represents my vision of freedom. A woman, free as the wind, roaming the roads of life...
This sweet word - freedom, for me it has many different shades of colour and faces. First of all, freedom is the absence of fear, the absence of condemnation and possessiveness in human relations. For me, the first step to inner freedom is… to accept yourself as you are, not to be afraid to take off your clothes from your body and soul, to perceive the world through yourself, through your body, as a part of the world ...

- framed, 80x100cm with frame;

« My paintings do not intend to provide an idealistic view on the environment, but to recognize which individual roles in the surrounding society are important. »
Anna Ravliuc is rising UK painter with international exposure. Ravliuc works exclusively with oil paints which she feels have a unique ability to simulate volumetric texture through brushstrokes and glazing, thus increasing their optical properties. Her artwork strives to reveal how society spreads beyond its own subjective horizons and often reveals a story about the outcomes of global cultural interaction on individuals.
