About this artwork
Black Square is an original and unique wall object that was created together with Michael Rofka. This object was made of wood and painted with a black acrylic paint. Black Square is not only a wall object, but also a prototype of a sound game (variant of a xylophone) that is playable. The clamped pieces of wood are not musically arranged chromatically, but "confused". The individual sounds and musical variants can be rediscovered at any time.
