About this artwork
The sculpture is made from a single piece of wood and is painted with acrylic paints. It depicts a fantastic creature joining the front part of a zebra and the back part of a bird. The zebra's head is turned in one direction, making it look mysterious, like looking over its shoulder. The sculpture is fantastic and alive at the same time.
The sculpture was selected and presented in 2018 for an international wood sculpture exhibition at the Wood Sculpture… Museum in Taiwan.
