About this artwork
I started painting There is Water on the Moon after news broke that scientists had discovered water on the Moon. That was in 2009. I found it fascinating. Perhaps one day there will be life there similar to that on Earth. Maybe plants grow there and there are animals, including cats. And these cats will meow all night long, catch mice and enjoy life.
I completed the painting in 2010. It is now in a private collection.
