About this artwork
The picture is a tribute to futurism, but... In this small picture, 'Express NRW', I wanted to show the spring landscape of the region where I live, cut through by a speeding train. I wanted to symbolically represent all the rapeseed fields and the young grain,
that I see when I travel by train, and at the same time this train that I see when I walk or ride my bike. It is a tribute to futurism and to the NRW landscape.
