About this artwork
Original contemporary landscape full of unique texture suggesting different parts of the landscape view. The more responses the better. It is inspired by my long walks in different places merged with emotional way of expressing what I saw. The edges of the painting are painted hence there is no need for a frame. The hanging system is installed on the back. Beautiful, multilayered painting full of contemporary marks and unique brush strokes.

« It feels like the passion for creation was waiting to be released and I have started my journey to find myself again. »
The places that Anna Schofield visits live long in her memory until she is ready to bring them back to life on canvas through her own interpretation. The UK-based artist loves traveling and documenting seascapes, skies, harbors, trees, and flowers. Schofield begins a piece by creating a ‘suggestion of the mark’ using acrylics, gesso, or polyfilla. She then covers the canvas with many layers of oil paint until the final result is achieved.
