About this artwork
Original oil painting full of lovely textures and strong contrasts. It is rather calming colour combination. The suggested marks are inviting to interpretation. Perfect as a decoration to any room. The edges are painted hence there is no need for a frame however if you like a strong finish it is easy to add a floating frame as this is a thin frame.

« It feels like the passion for creation was waiting to be released and I have started my journey to find myself again. »
The places that Anna Schofield visits live long in her memory until she is ready to bring them back to life on canvas through her own interpretation. The UK-based artist loves traveling and documenting seascapes, skies, harbors, trees, and flowers. Schofield begins a piece by creating a ‘suggestion of the mark’ using acrylics, gesso, or polyfilla. She then covers the canvas with many layers of oil paint until the final result is achieved.
