About this artwork
Original oil painting inspired by memories of bays I have visited over the years fused with emotions and feeling of positive thoughts while I was creating it. The colour palette was influenced by fresh colours of spring flowers. Lovely textue and suggestive marks makes it contemporary and modern. This colourful piece can decorate bedroom or dining room bringing lots of positive energy that should stay with you through all the day. This painting is…
purchased unframed however if you are interested in a white or black floating frame please contact me directly for more details.

« It feels like the passion for creation was waiting to be released and I have started my journey to find myself again. »
The places that Anna Schofield visits live long in her memory until she is ready to bring them back to life on canvas through her own interpretation. The UK-based artist loves traveling and documenting seascapes, skies, harbors, trees, and flowers. Schofield begins a piece by creating a ‘suggestion of the mark’ using acrylics, gesso, or polyfilla. She then covers the canvas with many layers of oil paint until the final result is achieved.
