Easy to frame however the edges have been painted. The journey through pain. We all have a moment in life when things are not going to our plan or maybe they are because our subconscious is leading us to a transformation. That path is full of "stormy" emotions turning us apart and putting us back into one piece as a different person. The places that Anna Schofield visits live long in her memory until she is ready to bring them back to life on canvas through her own interpretation. The UK-based artist loves traveling and documenting seascapes, skies, harbors, trees, and flowers. Schofield begins a piece by creating a ‘suggestion of the mark’ using acrylics, gesso, or polyfilla. She then covers the canvas with many layers of oil paint until the final result is achieved.
