The diamond dancing on the top is a geometric composition in which Anna Tatarczyk tries to catch the light. She creates the optical effect of three-dimensionality with sharp-edged adjoining color fields in different light levels. By capturing the light for a short moment, she stops time, the objects become time capsules that are independent of the creative period. They represent the spiritual in life, the forces from primeval times.
Already 40,000… years ago the diamond adorned prehistoric sculptures. It became a symbol for the orbits of the stars, as the Stone Age people observed.
The bodies come into their own against the natural background. It is precisely this contrast between the rough linen and the sharp-edged, colorful composition that creates a lively tension within the picture. The reduction to the essentials and the clear arrangement within the body convey strength, calm and harmony.
