Tongues of flame touch the delicate skin of a naked woman. She simultaneously covers herself from the flame and opens up to it. She dances and surrenders to the stream of life. The energetic strokes of a large brush and the impetuous movement captured in the figure convey the deep cry of the soul about freedom and passion for life.
This painting began as an abstraction in 2015, when Annata Bartos was travelling as a single… mom. In Chiang Mai, Thailand, she created her first large oil painting. Layer by layer, feeling colour with her fingers, intuitively choosing colours of fiery shades, she transferred her emotions of happiness and boundless freedom to the canvas.
In 2020, in the moment of inspiration, the abstract background came to life, acquired meaning expressed through the figure, and the painting became a complete statement. The passion of a realistically depicted female body is emphasized by means of abstract painting, which conveys emotions.

Annata is an experienced painter from Poland whose work has been featured in exhibitions internationally. After travelling and living in Peru, India, Thailand, and Cambodia, Annata decided to pursue painting as a way to convey energy and emotions. Merging both abstract and figurative art, she creates sensual nude portraits that express the body, mind, and spirit of the female form and its beauty.
