About this artwork
Light lines, delicately deposited on the canvas according to an imperfect and broken rhythm for a design and minimalist effect, unstructured. Like a primitive, ancestral drawing.
Anne Iris
France
A multi-disciplinary artist, Anne is curious by nature. She explores various artistic techniques ranging from working with rakes, ink, window scrapers, paint dripping and mounting relief paintings in the form of sculptures, to plaster and cement.
She works on canvas or paper, combining Posca with acrylic paint, which she applies in transparent washes, allowing the lines of the felt pen to show through.
She has exhibited at the Salon d'Automne at the Grand Palais in Paris, in various contemporary art fairs but also in Spain, in the Netherlands and at the Tsukuba Museum of Art in Tokyo.
