About this artwork
Part of a series of (commissioned) artwork depicting families (inspired by Giacometti). Point sur le i means questioning and come to a conclusion in family matters. Attached please find some pictures (close-up of some parts of it so that one can see better the texture). It is wired in the back so ready to hang.
"Faire le point sur le i" it is more about analyzing the family situation (or discuss about it). I added "sur le i" because my figures look… like the letter I
« I want the viewer to identify himself with the subject and associate personal memories or feelings to what is viewed. »
