« It is in this very special relationship with the model, this exchange, this non-verbal communication, that I draw my inspiration. »
Anne Malvy is a painter, draftsman, and sculptor based in France whose works have been exhibited nationally and in the United States. The human being is at the center of her new expressionist work and is a symbiosis of her collaboration with the models who pose for her. Malvy allows herself to be influenced by her subject's mood and inner state. Through her figurative compositions, she is not seeking to tell a story, rather, she endeavors to show human feeling.
